Moonlight Waves is a painting in artist-made gouache-like paint. The painting is on high-quality, thick 650gsm paper. The image evolved over the course of production. The end result is a painting of waves crashing on a rocky shoreline. The moon lights the scene as it crests a high, distant ridge. The impression of standing stones, farmlands and other natural landscape scenery appear.
