“Green Room” refers to the waiting place before one joins the show. The artist explains, “The cosmic show never stops. We come and go. We find our place or make a space and for what, we’ll never know. I do not set out to make psychedelic images, but when they come about and they hold meaning, I’m pleased. This painting feels like the removal of the veil, a look behind the curtain, a psychedelic backstage pass to the inner workings of the natural world.”
