This work "showing a clear attitude" is a collage of fine chinese papers that I have colored in shades of blue, beige, black and gray, as well as dissolved coffee. I glued the papers on top of each other in layers, because this creates an incredible depth to the image, even with the lighter tones. The title of the painting “Showing a clear attitude” refers to the hard contrast that the painting provides. And that simply has a lot of power. As a friend of clear statements, this painting virtually challenges the title “Showing a clear attitude “ The painting is framed in a white wooden frame.
