Hoffnungsträger Nr. 2

Mixedmedia on wood in black metal frame, "Bearer of hope, no. 2," 2023, 80 x 140 x 6 cm.

This abstract work is an informal painting in mixed media, that is, made with structuring and different materials, such as ash, rust and pigments, which lie in many layers on top of each other. This creates a very tactile surface. Particularly striking is the gestural drawing with charcoal, which, despite its urgency, has a calming effect, as it were. The painting is part of the “green bearer of hope series”, painting title “Bearer of hope No. 2”, because the color green has a calming effect and stands for hope. Framed is the painting in a black metal frame, which surrounds the artwork like a shell. The painting can be easily hung on the wall with two screws / dowels.
