Hans' vormen zijn gemaakt van staal. Ze variëren van organisch tot geometrisch, van hoekig tot voluptueus, van groot tot klein, van felgekleurd tot zwart, wit of ruw en metaalkleurig. De visuele esthetiek van de sculpturen is over het algemeen licht en luchtig, maar ze hebben het gewicht en de autoriteit die bij staal horen. Hans' artistieke visie en gevoel voor design is de homogeniserende kracht die al deze tegenstellingen samenbrengt in een samenhangend oeuvre.
