Cerulean Blue and Yellow Ochre

Oil paint on stretched linen.

70 x 100 cm
Matt Frock says:
"This painting falls more in the direction I want the series to grow. It looks the most like "mine" and less like my influences.
"When I was attending art school (RISD '97) in 1995, I took a bus trip to New York. Howard Hodgkin was having his retrospective at the Met. It completely blew me away. These works are heavily influenced by the work of Howard Hodgkin and more recently, the great Erin Lawlor."
